I personally think creativity is an essential and important facet of our life which we aren’t really able to nurture or sustain. It’s one of those factors that allows us to move and look forward, and has the capability to bring joy, contentment and fulfilment.
In some cases, it might even have the capacity to bring new opportunities whether it be social, financial, etc. In today’s post, I wanted to share with you some daily habits that foster creativity. These might be things you have done subconsciously but do in fact help spark creativity or these might be things that you could do which will hopefully help spark your creativity.

TAKING A BREAK
This is something I’ve already mentioned on my blog but taking a break has many benefits for your mind and body, but I do think that it will not only help you relax but it will also allow you to be creative in an organic manner. You don’t find creativity by forcing and overwhelming yourself with a ton of information, you find it at your own pace when it feels right.

CONSUMING A MEDIUM OF ART
I’m pretty sure this is something you might have already guessed but there is nothing better than consuming a form of art in order to spark the creativity you haven’t been experiencing lately. I would even go as far as saying that you need to consume a medium that you might not really be familiar with.
Art is always surrounded around us in many shapes and forms, it’s not just the paintings that you see in museums or the architecture of the buildings you go by, it’s in the nature that is ever present, it’s in the packaging of the products we use, it’s in the user interface of the websites & apps we check—it’s there from the shape of our furniture to the pieces we wear.

DOING TASKS AT A SLOWER PACE
We live in a hyperactive society, we are constantly on the move, we are always busy or need to be busy in order to feel like we are keeping up with everybody and are not stagnant, but while at the same time we long for quieter and slower days.
I do know that there are certain tasks that you have to do within a limited time and with quickness due to your circumstances but I think it’s as important to slow down for tasks that allow you to do so.
This is pretty much a combination of the previous points but doing certain tasks at a slower pace will give you the opportunity to pay more attention to smaller details you might have overlooked but also look at things you might not have paid attention to before. It’s in the slowness that creativity is often born and created.
