Getting Your Small Business Noticed with These Marketing Tips.

As a small business owner, it’s likely that you’re going to feel overwhelmed with all that you need to do to get your business name out there. It’s not easy to get started with a new business but that doesn’t mean that you can’t do it! Believing you can is the first step to branching out with your marketing and it’s going to take you looking beyond a potentially limited marketing budget.

You might think that you need a huge amount of money to get your marketing up to scratch but you really don’t! You can still get your business name out there, you can still get noticed and you can still grow your new business to bigger and better heights. From the brand sticker you place on your packaging to the social media posts you schedule to go online, there is plenty that you can do to get your small business noticed. Let’s take a look at what you can do with the right business marketing strategy in place:

#1

Create a brand and a logo. If you want your new business to be taken seriously, then creating a logo and a brand will help. You need to look the part: your brand is the fancy dress you need to wear to show off a little. Using a generic logo or a stock photo doesn’t get you noticed so you need to get creative. The good thing is you don’t have to do it yourself. There are websites out there where you can hire freelancers or agencies to do it for you.

#2

Don’t forget about being SEO friendly. Without a solid SEO strategy, you’re not going to be as visible as you could be. Search engine optimization gets your business noticed in the search engine results pages. SEO is the process of increasing website traffic from search engine results and it helps you to be discovered. Making sure that your website is mobile-friendly, with high quality images showcasing what you do, is a big part of your SEO strategy – or at least it should be.

#3

Create new profiles on Yelp and Google. When people search your business online, you want them to see your information in the best possible light. That means creating profiles on Yelp and Google My Business. You should be up there in those search engine results pages and when you are, you’re going to be able to understand how your contacts can get hold of your business. A Google business profile also comes equipped with analytics that help you to better understand how your customers contact your business.

#4

Think about packaging. What type of packaging does your product or service need? Even online services need to be packaged just so. When you package your products, your brand should stand out and people should take note. Packaging makes a difference to your marketing strategy and it should be a part of that.

You can get your small business noticed – now you know how to do it!
