I think when you are going through a difficult time, the only way to balance out your life is to get over the hardship and obstacle in question. It’s not to say that you can’t balance out your life if you don’t overcome the obstacle in question but you will definitely get a bit more clarity which does help a lot.

BUILDING A ROUTINE THAT WORKS FOR YOU

A lot of people would say that creating a routine is the best way to balance your life which I don’t disagree with. However, I also think that building a routine that works for you is the most essential part. A routine will give you structure which will essentially help you stay grounded and add a pattern/cycle into the disorganised situation you are in.

One of the most important things you have to remember is that you don’t need to follow other people’s routine, as long as you build a routine that works for you & your circumstance you will see a drastic difference.

PUSHING THROUGH THE HARDSHIPS

As I said in the beginning, you don’t necessarily have to overcome your hardships in order to balance your life, it will help you tremendously but depending on your circumstance it might be a bit more complex and complicated.

However, pushing through your hardships will help you stay afloat. Obviously, this is easier said than done and I’m not saying this won’t be difficult at all but at the end, this is one of the things that will help you give the illusion of balance.

ALLOWING YOURSELF TO EXPERIENCE JOYS

Last but not least, one of the best things you could do to balance your life is to allow yourself to experience small joys in your life. You can find light during the dark as well if you allow yourself to experience it.

I do think this is the hardest thing you could possibly ever do because you will never be able to fully enjoy those joys while you are going through your toughest time but I think it’s important to give your mind the illusion of peace through those joys. You are allowed to smile, laugh & rest as well. Life is a combination of ups & downs and if you are waiting to experience happiness only during your ups then you won’t be able to sustain this journey called life.
