When talking about strong emotions, people usually refer them as negative ones in the sense they would consider those emotions to be negative such as hatred, anger, envy, disappointment, resentment, sadness, etc.
However, I do think that strong emotions could be positive such as happiness, excitement, gratitude, etc. In today’s post, I wanted to share with you things that you should consider when dealing with emotions at such an intense level. Without further ado, let’s jump into the post!
Lorsqu’on parle d’émotions fortes, les gens les qualifient généralement d’émotions négatives, dans le sens où ils considèrent ces émotions comme négatives, comme la haine, la colère, l’envie, la déception, le ressentiment, la tristesse, etc.

NOT MAKING ANY DECISION
I’m pretty sure we’ve all been there when we’ve said or promised something in the heat of the moment then later on regretted it, and I do think that’s the reason why you should never promise, say or make any decision while your emotions are running high.
Not only will you be easily manipulated by your own emotions but also by the person next to you. It’s way better to give yourself some time & space before you let anything out especially in terms of life-altering decisions.

STAYING GROUNDED
This point ties with the previous one but while your emotions are strong, it’s so easy for you to say or do things that are out of the ordinary, or to even let out all the emotions that you’ve been suppressing which isn’t really the best.
Staying grounded and taking some space & time for yourself will allow you to organise your thoughts into place and have a much clearer headspace to reply or say the right thing in the situation.

REMEMBERING THAT EMOTIONS ARE FLEETING
Last but not least, remember that like anything else in life – emotions are fleeting including strong ones. You might feel completely differently by the next hour so don’t visualise your life or consider yourself in a negative manner because that’s not true at all. Sometimes your emotions won’t allow you to find solutions to problems that can be fixed and they might even make you see a situation in a completely different light.

What happens when you see someone experience strong emotions, but they just flee? I have met someone where he just runs away when emotions run so strong and I started getting a complex of just being abandoned (from even a hangout or conversation that’s so emotional).
