3 Journeys in Life Without a Destination.

There are so many things in life that have an end when you look at the journey. For instance, in terms of education you can end it in high school or university. The same applies to your career, once you have reached your dream job or goal – you have reached the finishing line and achieved the goal you worked so hard for.

However, not all journeys have a finishing line nor do they have a destination. They are pretty much a life long journey without a destination in sight and that’s what I wanted to talk about in today’s post. I wanted to share with you 3 things that are a journey without a destination. As always, if you are interested – keep on reading!

CONFIDENCE

I used to believe that confidence was something that you attained without losing it ever again. I didn’t realise that your confidence could fluctuate depending on your mood, surrounding, emotions, etc. It’s not a journey that finishes once you feel confident about and within yourself. It’s something that you will have to work on for the rest of your life, there will be days where you will be so sure of yourself and there will be days where you wouldn’t know what you are doing, and that is completely normal.

HEALING

I always thought with the way people talked about healing that it was something you were done with after you finished the process of it but it’s actually quite the opposite. Even if you heal or feel like you’ve healed, it doesn’t mean that you have ended your journey. You will still encounter things that might trigger your fight-or-flight response and the intensity of it will vary depending on your emotions in that moment. You will heal but it wouldn’t be a linear journey nor a journey with an end.

HOPE

Last but not least, your journey of hope is something that will test you at times. It’s not a journey where everything works out once you have overcome an obstacle. With each hardship and obstacle that life throws at you, you will have to work on your faith & hope. It is a testing journey but it is so worth it because it teaches you the importance of not giving up and trying to find & appreciate small joys in life.
