Spring is The Season of Revival.

Growing up, I’ve never been a fan of spring. I wish I could say it was due to hay fever but the truth is, that period of time always felt bittersweet to me. It always felt like the beginning of a goodbye and this might be due to summer being the end of an academic year but I don’t know, for the most part I have never truly appreciated spring.

However, during the past year or so I’ve started seeing spring in a completely different way. I wouldn’t necessarily say that it has become my favourite season but there are some aspects of it that I really find it to be beautiful and heartwarming. In today’s post, I wanted to share with you some of my favourite aspects of spring. Without further ado, let’s jump into the post!

SPRING ALWAYS COMES AFTER WINTER

I think one of the biggest things I’ve realised regardless of how cliché it sounds, is the fact that spring always follows winter and I find it to be really poetic. No matter how dark and tumultuous a period of time is, light will always come after and I think nature has a really beautiful way of showing that aspect. Nothing is permanent, everything is temporary which includes our sorrows and hardships as well.

THE BEAUTY OF A FRESH START

I’m pretty sure this is something many of you have already noticed but spring showcases the start of blooming flowers & trees. Many of the flowers that have wilted, start blooming again and it is very reminiscent of a fresh start. Not only does it prove that you can fall and stand back again but there is also a beginning after every difficult period.

THE SEASON OF REJUVENATION

This is more of a personal opinion but I truly think that the season of rejuvenation is spring. It’s the perfect season to enjoy the weather which isn’t too warm or too cold. You get your energy back and this might be only me but I do get this sense of hope during this time of the year – almost like this feeling that everything will be okay.

    1. So do I! To be honest, I’m not really a fan of summer. The humidity, the sleepless nights and the tiredness that comes from the heat aren’t something I look forward to haha 😅 Thank you so much for reading ❤️
