A Full Face Of Drugstore Cruelty Free Makeup

Old ways won’t open new doors.

Hey Loves! I hope you’re doing well, today I came back with another beauty post and this time it’s a full face of cruelty free makeup from the drugstore/high street! I got a lot of positive feedback from my full face of makeup dupes blog post so I thought I’d do one for cruelty free makeup products as well. I don’t support the fact that companies test on animals but at the same time it’s really hard to find cruelty free products that work on my skin type and texture.

A lot of people think that there aren’t many drugstore brands that are cruelty free, even myself to be honest – I always thought there were only a number of brands and the rest were all high end but oh boy I was completely wrong! I’m not going to deny and say there are a lot of drugstore brands which are cruelty free but if you do your research, you can definitely find so many! In addition, I’ve listed all the drugstore brands that are cruelty free at the end of this post – if you’re interested then check them out!

DO YOU USE CRUELTY FREE MAKEUP PRODUCTS?

xo N

    1. Thanks for making me aware of the cruelty free cosmetics . You’re so beautiful! I love the fact you took the time to list prices too. Thanks for checking out my blog.

    1. You’re completely right! The lighting is so bad at the moment here in the UK and the pictures always come out yellowish by the time I take them and it’s very hard to work with! And I don’t have immediate access to the products I use (because nobody knows I’m blogging and it’d be weird if I take pictures around everyone else 😅) that’s why I take a bunch of thumbnail pictures before hand and then choose the most convenient one for my blog posts lol! That’s one of the reasons why I don’t do product reviews in terms of face products because I wanna show everything in depth and in a detailed way, it wouldn’t really make sense if I don’t show the finish on my skin ❤️

    2. I have similar problems with lighting! My best time for pictures is around 10am to like 3pm but I work a regular 8 to 4 so it’s almost impossible 😩 I stick to weekends for now 😆

    3. I always take my pictures during my days off! I usually take them around the same time as yours but the weather is always bad when I take them! 😩

    1. I was surprised as well, I didn’t expect to find so many drugstore/high street brands especially Barry M, Sleek & Makeup Revolution! x

  1. There are so many more these days it’s great, I’ve moved to the states from the UK and struggled to find some over here but after a little research online I found some new cruelty free, vegan friendly products in my local drugstores too ☺️ x – lovely post thanks 😇

    1. Thank you so much hun! 😘 I found more U.S. drugstore cruelty free brands when I was doing my research and there were so many! I find it great that there are brands becoming vegan friendly as well! 💗

    2. I think I’m going to have to a whole lot more research over here to find a few more cheeky brands for me to pick up, I’m always one to change my makeup because I get bored 😂😂

    1. YES! I love their lip products, especially the lip creams! The formula of the lip creams are really creamy (as its name), pigmented and feels really good on the lips x

    2. I recently bought a NYX Butter Lipstick and I loved it. It’s the first lip product I have from NYX (I used a lip tint from a Korean brand before) and it didn’t disappoint considering its price.

    3. I’m like noob when it comes to buying make up so I am not sure if that type of NYX lipstick is still being sold abroad. (I’m from the Philippines.) But I bought it because I prefer the cream type of lip products over the matte ones. (Okay so I am so not sure if I used the correct terms for this. Sorry!)

    4. I’m pretty sure it’s available here in the UK, I remember seeing it on the counter (I believe). I’ve tried some matte lipsticks from NYX and the formula was very creamy and felt so good on my lips so you should definitely check out the matte ones as well (you won’t be disappointed, I promise!) and no worries I completely understood what you meant xx

  2. I’m glad they have cruelty free products! I’m sure it’s a huge stress reliever when shopping in stores knowing exactly what to look for!

  3. Such a great post as usual! 😘 I realised I’ve naturally made the slow transition to cruelty-free makeup and skincare myself & its definitely an area I need more research in so thanks for adding in the other brand names at the bottom of the post! I love NYX, but I was unaware they were owned by a parent company that does test on animals. Who is the parent company? xx

    1. Thank you so much babe! 😘 I’m trying to use as many cruelty free products as possible. I love NYX too, I love their lip products and some of their face products! NYX is owned by L’Oréal which tests on animals but NYX doesn’t, some people don’t consider NYX as a cruelty free brand for this reason xx

    2. Ahh I had a feeling it would be L’Oreal! I don’t understand why a company like L’Oreal still tests on animals? Like in this day and age? NYX lip products are the BEST!!!

    3. I know it’s so frustrating, all the companies should stop testing on animals but they still do which is the sad part 😔 I really hope in the future, companies won’t test on animals xx

  4. Brilliant post ! I think it’s about time we all ( myself included) take a stance in regards to using cruelty free makeup. Thanks for posting a list of products to use!

  5. I try and use all cruelty free products, all of my baby products are cruelty free, I think its the best! I have always wanted to try NYX but i always assumed it was an american makeup brand!

  6. I am a cruelty free makeup YouTuber quickly turned blogger. And I am enjoying finding new options. I used to think there weren’t many but there are plenty to choose from!

  8. This is so great, I love it when beauty bloggers care about animal testing. The list of cruelty-free brands is a big help because it allows us beauty lovers to support brands that care about our plant and all of its beautiful creatures. Thank you so much.

    1. Thank you so much gorgeous! It should definitely be a must when it comes to cruelty free makeup but still many companies do test on animals, hopefully it’ll change in the future x

    1. Great post.
I do try my hardest to go cruelty free.
But your so right about finding the right product for you skin.
I use a lot of Barry M, Sleek and No7.

      X

    2. Thank you! I love Barry M and Sleek products, I’ve dry and sensitive so it’s always complicated for me to find products that work on my skin, especially base products x

  9. The majority of my products are from collection, No7 or NYX, I’m so happy these are cruelty-free, I feel so relieved. Thanks for making me aware of this, great post! x

  10. It’s awesome that you can find cruelty-free at the drugstore now!
Going cruelty-free is a great step, and thankfully easier now than ever! The next step is to watch out for nasty toxic ingredients–it’s easier than you may think!
