We can all agree that one of the most difficult part of blogging is driving traffic to your blog, it doesn’t matter how hard you work on your blog – you can’t see any difference! This is something I’ve struggled a lot in the beginning and I know how discouraging that can be so I wanted to share with you 5 ways to drive traffic to your website!

This might sound obvious but reading and commenting on other blogs will bring traffic to your website. Everyone is in the same boat as you, you can’t expect to get likes/comments on your blog if you don’t do anything, it’s all about sharing the love & support you get. I’ve seen so many people get traffic to their blogs in my comments section and even interact with one another which makes me very happy! However, I know some bloggers might go a bit ‘overboard’ with this technique by promoting their own blog and blog posts which is disrespectful. Don’t comment for the sake of it but only when you genuinely want to, which can make a huge difference in your traffic and how you represent yourself as a brand.

Ne faites pas de commentaires pour cela, mais seulement lorsque vous le voulez vraiment, cela peut faire une énorme différence dans votre trafic et dans la manière dont vous vous représentez en tant que marque.

You can share on your Instagram stories that you’ve posted a new blog post or even post a picture on your Instagram letting your followers know that there’s a new blog post up on your blog!

Another way to drive traffic to your blog is through Twitter, you can promote your new blog posts and even old ones from your archives! Adding some hashtags and retweet accounts will allow your tweet to be seen by more people.

I think Pinterest is one of the infamous ways to drive traffic to your blog. Create beautiful templates for your blog posts and post them on Pinterest. Even if you don’t see any differences at first, if your pins start to go viral then trust me – your stats will blow up!

BLOGLOVIN & FACEBOOK
I’ve seen many people get traffic through Bloglovin and Facebook as well, I do get traffic from Facebook but to be completely honest, I don’t use these social media platforms on a daily basis. But I’d recommend to use them just in case if you get traffic through these platforms.

Great advice! As a new blogger, someone told me last week that What’s App is a good way to get traffic to your blog. I am not on What’s App but was told you don’t need an account yourself. Have you had any experience with that?
Thank you! If you’re talking about a comment/engagement pod which is available on Instagram, Twitter and even WhatsApp then it’s a good way to bring way traffic, if you’re genuinely interested in these blogs. But apart from that, I’ve never heard of this WhatsApp trick x

This is very helpful! I’ve just started using Pinterest but I’m confused how it works. So would I just add a picture onto my boards with my link and then people find the picture when you search for images? Because I tried to search a picture I uploaded and it wasn’t on there. I hope I’m making sense haha. Thanks for sharing this info
Thank you Ash! It’s exactly like that but you can’t search your images that way. The more you pin the more likely people will find your pictures and pin them. Once your pins are popular, people can easily search and find your images. Pin at least once or twice per day, it doesn’t have to be your pictures and pin as much as you can on an everyday basis and you’ll start to see a difference x
How many pins should you pin at one time?
I’d recommend to pin at least twice or thrice everyday, you don’t need to pin the same image in different boards but try to stay active on Pinterest everyday x

This is definitely something I’m struggling with – thanks for sharing on this topic.
Unfortunately for me, I try to interact with other bloggers on social media or via comments but I never seem to receive any comments or traffic back to my blog from my efforts. Hopefully, if I keep plugging along things will change. ☺️

Another post full of great tips. I will have to learn how to get using my Instagram stories as it’s something I really am not good at. Pinterest is a new thing I’ve been trying and has been great. There are also groups to join and share you work with other bloggers which can add to becoming involved in the community.

Thanks for your great blogging tips as usual . I use some of these tips and using your own blog to drive traffic to your blog isn’t as crazy as it sounds. I have a Facebook and a Pinterest page for my blog. I use Twitter a lot, Instagram not so much. Another way is joining Facebook blogger groups as well. I’m in one right now and the members are so supportive.
