COVENT GARDEN

If you are a foodie then you definitely need to visit Covent Garden which is very famous for restaurants. There are so many award-winning restaurants there so I’d highly recommend to book a reservation/table beforehand if you don’t want to wait for a long time since most of the restaurants are very busy.

Square Meal is a great website to book/find restaurants, bars & pubs and to find venues as well. I have used Square Meal to find the best restaurants near me and I’ve booked a table on the same day an hour before going to the restaurant!

There is an actual review of the restaurants with useful information like the price, ambience, menus, etc. You get to collect points and rewards with certain bookings as well. If you live in the UK, this is the website you need to find the right place to eat, meet and celebrate! Plus they recently have had a revamp so if you are planning a wedding or a party of some sort or simply just want to find the best place to eat near you then I’d really recommend to check their website out!

If you are into architecture, history and love sight-seeing then you’ll have to visit St. Paul’s Cathedral! It’s one of London’s most famous and recognisable sights standing tall at an imposing 365 feet. Make sure you go your way to the top, where you can fully see some amazing city views.

1. Thanks! If the pictures are from royalty free websites then you don’t need to mention the source but if you’re using pictures from other bloggers or from websites that require you to mention the source then you’ll have to mention it.

  1. Great post. I lived in London for 10 years, and am a regular visitor now for work reasons but now live a couple of hours away. In the words of Dr Johnson…when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life, as there is in London all that life can offer. Definitely keep posting these please….

  2. All good choices! Oxford St is a pretty hectic place though so good luck on that one with the Tourists. There is a rooftop bar I once went to called Madison which is a beautiful place to look over the City, and is right by St Pauls. A great place to check out for a meal, drink and view

  3. I have been in London in March and I totally fell in love with the city!
But do you believe I missed all the 5 spots you suggested? We were in London for only 5 days; St.Paul, Covent Garden and Oxford Street were on our bucket list but we had no time enough, unfortunately 😦
This means only one thing to me: I need to go to London again and visit what I missed the first time 😉 😉

    1. Hey! First of all, that’s such an amazing news! Secondly, it’s all about your needs. If you’re planning on going to uni once you migrate to the UK then I’d recommend to look at places near your uni. If you’re planning on working, check on places near your workplaces. Note that the cost of living in London is super expensive, as you live nearer to London, it gets even more expensive! Hope that was helpful 💗

  4. I can recommend a river trip from Docklands to Westminster. You will pass some really iconic views: Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
