A New York City Guide.

[AD] If there is a city that I would recommend anyone to visit at least once in their lifetime, it is New York! Fortunately, I got the opportunity or more like a chance to go there a couple of years ago through college and I really had a great & memorable experience. That’s why in today’s post, I wanted to share with you a New York city guide for those of you who are planning to go there or who are going to visit very soon (or in the future). I’ve featured some of my favourite hotspots, as always if you are interested – keep on reading!

S’il y a une ville que je recommanderais à quiconque de visiter au moins une fois dans sa vie, c’est bien New York ! Heureusement, j’ai eu l’occasion ou plutôt la chance d’y aller il y a quelques années à l’université et j’ai vraiment vécu une expérience formidable et mémorable. C’est pourquoi dans le post d’aujourd’hui, je voulais partager avec vous un guide de la ville de New York pour ceux d’entre vous qui envisagent d’y aller ou qui vont visiter très bientôt (ou dans le futur). JOE & THE JUICE

I knew when I set foot in the US that I needed to go to Joe & The Juice. I’ve always heard so many people rave about their drinks and that the taste was different in the US compared to the other Joe & The Juice in other countries so I wanted to try out it myself. I ordered their chocolate shake (choco shake) which if you didn’t already know by now, I love chocolates and I mostly drink hot chocolate every single day. I was pleasantly surprised by their shake and I would highly recommend to check it out if the place you reside doesn’t have a Joe & The Juice there.

Je savais quand j’ai mis les pieds aux États-Unis qu’il fallait que j’aille chez Joe & The Juice. J’ai toujours entendu tellement de gens s’extasier sur leurs boissons et que le goût était différent aux États-Unis par rapport aux autres Joe & The Juice dans d’autres pays, alors j’ai voulu l’essayer moi-même. J’ai commandé leur shake au chocolat (choco shake) qui, si vous ne le saviez pas déjà, j’adore les chocolats et je bois surtout du chocolat chaud tous les jours. J’ai été agréablement surpris par leur shake et je vous recommande vivement de vérifier si l’endroit où vous résidez n’a pas de Joe & The Juice là-bas.

RIZZIOLI BOOKSTORE

I love reading books and I would definitely consider myself as a bookworm so during my time when I visited New York, I really wanted to visit a bookstore and library. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the time to visit a library but I did get to visit Rizzioli bookstore. There is something special about physical books, I know some people prefer digital books over traditional ones but I much prefer physical books. I loved the interior and the atmosphere was very calm as well.

If you are into books, I would definitely recommend to visit a bookstore or library in the place you are going to visit or during a trip. Not only will it give you an opportunity to check out novels & books but whenever you read the book you’ve purchased or come across a book that you flipped through there, it will reminisce you of that trip which will be very special.

J’adore lire des livres et je me considérerais certainement comme un rat de bibliothèque, donc pendant mon séjour à New York, je voulais vraiment visiter une librairie et une bibliothèque. Malheureusement, je n’ai pas eu le temps de visiter une bibliothèque, mais j’ai pu visiter la librairie Rizzioli. Il y a quelque chose de spécial dans les livres physiques, je sais que certaines personnes préfèrent les livres numériques aux livres traditionnels, mais je préfère de loin les livres physiques. J’ai adoré l’intérieur et l’atmosphère était très calme aussi.

Si vous aimez les livres, je vous recommande vivement de visiter une librairie ou une bibliothèque à l’endroit que vous allez visiter ou lors d’un voyage. Non seulement cela vous donnera l’occasion de consulter des romans et des livres, mais chaque fois que vous lirez le livre que vous avez acheté ou que vous tomberez sur un livre que vous avez feuilleté là-bas, cela vous rappellera ce voyage qui sera très spécial.

WHILE WE WERE YOUNG

If you are going to visit New York, I would really recommend to get a New York City tourist pass, not only will you be able to visit popular and monumental places but you can also find great hotspots that you probably will not be able to find if you didn’t get one.

One of the places that I found coincidentally on such instance is this restaurant, although I’m pretty sure its name is widely popular internationally. This is the perfect place to visit if you like food and Instagram! It’s the perfect Instagram hotspot, the aesthetics in this restaurant are just gorgeous. It only exudes elegance and sophistication. The pictures will literally look amazing on your feed! The food is really delicious as well which is a win win.

Si vous allez visiter New York, je vous recommande vraiment d’obtenir un pass touristique pour la ville de New York, non seulement vous pourrez visiter des lieux populaires et monumentaux, mais vous pourrez également trouver de superbes hotspots que vous ne pourrez probablement pas trouver si vous n’en avez pas eu.

L’un des endroits que j’ai trouvé par coïncidence dans un tel cas est ce restaurant, bien que je sois sûr que son nom soit très populaire à l’échelle internationale. C’est l’endroit idéal à visiter si vous aimez la nourriture et Instagram ! C’est le hotspot Instagram parfait, l’esthétique de ce restaurant est tout simplement magnifique. Il ne respire que l’élégance et le raffinement. Les images seront littéralement incroyables sur votre flux ! La nourriture est vraiment délicieuse aussi, ce qui est gagnant-gagnant.

CENTRAL PARK

Last but not least, we have Central Park. I was really thinking hard on which place to include as the last one but I decided to opt for this one since the other ones were cafés & restaurants, and this park is definitely worth including it. I love nature and I knew I wanted to visit this park since it was widely popular and of course, because of the fact it’s considered as a masterpiece of landscape architecture.

To be completely honest, I couldn’t visit the park properly since I wasn’t on my own but during the few minutes I got to visit – I could definitely say it was a beautiful experience. To the point, I’m adding it onto a city guide blog post! My biggest regret during that trip would probably have been the fact that I wasn’t able to spend more time there and look at the views more.

Enfin, nous avons Central Park. Je réfléchissais vraiment à quel endroit inclure comme dernier point mais j’ai décidé d’opter pour celui-ci puisque les autres étaient des cafés et des restaurants, et ce parc vaut vraiment la peine de l’inclure. J’aime la nature et je savais que je voulais visiter ce parc car il était très populaire et bien sûr, car il est considéré comme un chef-d’œuvre de l’architecture paysagère.

Pour être tout à fait honnête, je ne pouvais pas visiter le parc correctement car je n’étais pas seule, mais pendant les quelques minutes que j’ai pu visiter, je pourrais certainement dire que ce fut une belle expérience. Au point, je l’ajoute sur un article de blog de city guide! Mon plus grand regret lors de ce voyage aurait probablement été le fait que je n’ai pas pu y passer plus de temps et regarder davantage les vues.
