3 Ways To Hide That You Are Nervous.

I think it’s completely normal to feel nervous from time to time especially if you are under a stressful situation and feel extremely overwhelmed. Although it’s a normal emotion, it can trigger and bring out a lot of negative emotions such as stress, anxiety, etc. which are obviously not good for you, your health and the situation you are currently in.

Bien qu’il s’agisse d’une émotion normale, elle peut déclencher et faire ressortir beaucoup d’émotions négatives comme le stress, l’anxiété, etc. qui ne sont évidemment pas bonnes pour vous, votre santé et la situation dans laquelle vous vous trouvez actuellement.

FOCUS ON THE PHYSICAL THINGS AROUND YOURSELF

A lot of people would say to do specific breathing techniques or to even focus on your breathing in order to calm yourself down which are great ways to relax and keep yourself calm but when you are stressed out and can’t think about anything at all, it can be very difficult to focus on your breathing. During that moment, focus on the moment you are currently in.

If you are in a car, look at your surrounding. If you are sitting down, look around yourself. Try to not think about anything at all and focus on the environment you are in. Don’t think about why you are currently there or why you are going there. Not only will this calm yourself but it will also help you feel less overwhelmed.

LET EVERYTHING OUT

This is something I often mention in my blog posts but it’s very important to let your emotions out if they are overwhelming you. If you think you are going to cry, simply let it out – don’t try to repress it. The harder you try to stop it, the more out of control you will feel. There is a reason why you feel better after releasing all your emotions out.

BELIEVE THAT EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT OK

Most of the times, the reason why we feel nervous in the first place is due to uncertainty. If we had an idea of what’s going to happen then it will make us feel more at ease and make us feel like that we have some sort of control over the situation but that is not the case which is why we tend to be nervous. I think one of the things you need to do during this situation is to look at it from a practical standpoint and believe that everything will turn out to be ok at the end. There is a solution for everything (at least for most things) so have faith that whatever you are experiencing will pass.
