3 Things You Should Never Take For Granted.

The end of the year is approaching and I know for many people, this is the time where they contemplate on their new year’s goals & plans or look back on this year’s events & accomplishments which I think is completely normal.

However, I am at a point in life where I realised that there are a few things that are way more important than what society or your surrounding thinks is important or worthy and that’s what I wanted to share with you in today’s post. Without further ado, let’s jump into the post!

HEALTH

We always emphasise on the importance of health but sometimes I truly believe that we don’t stress it enough or it’s not necessarily highlighted in the way it should be. When you are sick or not feeling well, you will realise that health is wealth. When you are healthy, not only are you able to do so many different things but you also have the energy to face anything in front of you.

On the other hand, when you are not – not only will you not feel energised to do or face anything but there will be a constant worry & stress around you which is the worst. Prioritising your health shouldn’t even be a must but a given and that includes both your physical & mental health.

LOVE

When you speak about love, many people automatically assume you are talking about romantic love but there are so many different types of love whether it be platonic, familial, etc. Love in itself is a complex emotion and it brings both positive and negative emotions out of you but at the end, if you love and are loved then it’s probably one of the greatest blessings in life.

Not everyone gets to experience that feeling, let alone from multiple people which is the harsh reality. There are many people in this lifetime who don’t get to experience their love being reciprocated, let alone respected or appreciated. If you are in a position where you know you are loved and cared for then please don’t take it for granted.

MONEY

This might seem materialistic or even vain especially after the previous points being mentioned but money doesn’t only give you comfort but also stability. We are living at a time where everyone is constantly chasing or hustling after something that we don’t recognise or see the things we already own/have whether it be the materialistic things or money we already have.

Many people struggle to make ends meets and they know better than anyone how precious £5 is and how big of a difference it could make in the grand scheme of things. If you are earning money then you are able to earn more but don’t forget the money you already have in the process.

  1. I’m totally vibing with this post! Lately, I’ve made my health (physical and mental) my main priority, so seeing this resonates big time. Money’s right up there after health on my priority list. I’ve ditched the whole materialistic vibe around it. Not talking about money with the way the cost of living is skyrocketing? That’s just capping.

  2. Yes, Lune. I agree. Health, love and money are some of the things we tend to take for granted when we have it. Only when we lose it we realised how much we had. Such a great reminder to cherish the things, people and circumstances that currently make our lives a lil better.
