As a content creator, you go through phases where you either feel like you get a ton of ideas all at once or none at all. I’ve been blogging for over 6 years now and trust me when I say I go through writer’s block quite often, at least once a year. Sometimes, it’s not that you’ve run out of ideas but it’s just that you can’t find any ideas that you like. If you are going through a creative block then this post is for you! In today’s post, I wanted to share with you on how to overcome a creative slump as a blogger or influencer. As always, if you are interested – keep on reading!

CHECK SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
Checking social media platforms is a great way to boost your creativity and overcome a creative slump. The best social media platforms in this case would be Pinterest or Instagram, or even Tumblr. I personally get creative when I see beautiful imagery and I instantly jot down ideas on a blank piece of paper or on the ‘Notes’ app on my phone.
Note that there is a huge difference between getting inspired by accounts or fellow content creators and stealing ideas from them. I know it’s not something I need to say to my readers but there is a fine line between inspiration and imitation. Make sure not to get too overboard when you are getting inspired by another blogger/influencer.

ASK YOUR AUDIENCE OR OTHER FELLOW CONTENT CREATORS
You can always ask other bloggers or influencers for help as well. They might have written blog posts about it or even blog post ideas! If you are really close friends with another blogger then you can bounce ideas off each other. Or, you can even tweet or do an IG story asking your followers what they want to read from you which will give you some ideas.

TAKE A BREAK
Whether you’ve been reading my blog for a while or a long time, I’m pretty sure you saw this coming haha! I always stress about the importance of taking a break and that is because you need to take one in order to work productively and more efficiently. Try not to overwork yourself to the point you get burn out and don’t have the energy nor the will power to do anything. Finding a balance between working and resting is so important. This will allow you to find inspiration and be more creative.

Great advice! Taking break has always helped me as well as preventing myself from over thinking.
Thank you sweet! ❤️
Taking a break always helps.
So true! Thank you so much for reading 😊
This was really helpful and straightforward! I love those posts that are full of listed ideas on what to write, they’ve given a lot of inspiration in the past and I’m the same with beautiful imagery! ✨ If I don’t feel like looking at a screen to capture that I like to spend time with nature like my succulent plants or recently planting veg indoors, I think it grounds to a level where I’m open to receiving ideas 😄🌱. Brilliant post! 💞
These are great advice.❣️
What a coincidence I published something similar on my blog 😂
Thank you hun! Haha that’s fab ❤️

I recently wrote a post about how easy we can get ideas for writing (Like Attracts Like).
Even with that easy steps we all have that Block-days, but now not that often 🤗

Haha that used to be so me when I first started blogging! 😂 It’s definitely hard to find a balance but once you find it, it’s so worth it 🙌🏼 Thank you so much for reading love ❤️
These are all such great tips. I found myself in a bit of a creative slump recently. The best way to overcome it for me was to take a break, especially from social media!
Thank you so much love! ❤️
Thank you for your advises. And I love the picture. Simple and creative.
Thank you lovely! ❤️
Thanks for the tips! My fiction writing has been suffering from a massive slump for several months now. I just can’t find the desire to write right now. Which is a terrible bummer, because I really miss it. 😦
My pleasure! 😊
Great advice. A break always helps me. I use that time to consume inspiring content so that creativity can flow again or simply to relax.
Thank you lovely! ❤️
Love the opening photo! And sometimes a creative break can help 🙂
Thank you! 😊
I needed this! Thank you so much! I’ve never had problems with this up until I did freelance writing. Aside from the bureaucratic hurdles, I had to be conscious of SEO rules. Somehow, I think it blocked off my ability to create for my blogs (https://thepopblogph.com and https://nepcledesma.com), even if I could give my clients what they needed. Isn’t it ironic?😊
My pleasure hun! 😊 I completely understand to what you are saying. Writing blog posts while following SEO rules is much harder than you would think.
True!😂😂
I like your content. Some feedback though, maybe breaking up the text some, as it gets bit hard to read with all that compressed text.
I did really enjoy the content though, was great insight. 🙂
Very helpful!
