LIFESTYLE
The first thing that popped into my mind when writing this post was about cooking. I’ve been very into cooking lately or for the past year now, there are a lot of nutrients in foods that you can never find anywhere else and I have started realising that there are only a few things in the world that you can indulge yourself in and eating delicious food is one of those.
With that said, maintaining a healthy diet is extremely important but you can also consume some so not healthy food once in a while in moderation. The Milka Choco Brownie pocket is one of those things I indulge myself in when I crave for something sweet. I am not really a huge fan of cakes and to be completely honest, it’s been a while since I’ve had brownies so I only tried them on a whim because the packaging looked quite cool when I was doing my groceries one day but I was pleasantly surprised by them. I would highly recommend to check them out if you have a sweet tooth.

SKINCARE
At the beginning of the year, Pixi were kind enough to gift me some of their products from their Collagen collection. Collagen usually improves the texture of your skin, reduces wrinkles and increases blood flow to the skin, that’s one of the reasons why many anti-aging products contain collagen so I was very excited to try these products out. My favourite products from this range have to be the Botanical Collagen & Retinol Serum and the Botanical Collagen Tonic.
I literally finished the serum pretty quickly which was a first as my serums usually take at least two to three months to use them completely. The serum literally made my skin feel extremely smooth during the wintertime and not dry at all, I was a bit scared that the scent would be too overwhelming but I was very surprised that it wasn’t that case. I am still using the tonic and it has been such a nice addition to my collection during this time of the year when the weather is unpredictable thus my skin is struggling to retain its moisture and remain hydrated.

HEALTH
If there is something I’ve been trying to prioritise more and more during the past years is my health. Both your physical & mental health are so important and it’s not something you should disregard whether it’s the products you consume, the environment you surround yourself with or the exercises you do to keep your body in check. I have recently discovered an app called Open which is perfect for those who are interested in meditation and breathing exercises.
I’ve only been using this app for a few months now and I’ve been loving it. I have tried a lot of fitness apps in the past but this has to be the best so far because of the detailed explanation and guidance when meditating. If you have trouble meditating by yourself then definitely check this one out! It’s worth mentioning that the user interface is very sleek and easy to navigate.

*Few* is such a wiggle word — but in any case, I think it’s more than two (which would be a couple, right?) and definitely less than a listicle … yet another one of the many reasons to keep reading! 😉
Not just prioritizing your health but loving taking care of yourself… that’s wonderful!
Great post! I’m the same way with cake. Sometimes it’s good, but I can’t stand the sugary frosting on the top. 😂 I’ve been trying to be healthier as well. Keep it up!
Great post! I don’t like cooking but only then are you completely sure that what you eat is actually healthy.
