At first, I was going to refer summer as the season of enjoyment not just because of the holiday excitement but many people do spend quality time with their loved ones during this season hence the quality of enjoyment. However, in today’s post I wanted to explore the notion of summer and as to why it is the season of action. Without further ado, let’s jump into the post!

A TIME FOR JOY
As I mentioned previously, summer is the best time to get your dose of sunshine whether it’s by yourself or with your loved ones, and you need to be proactive in order to experience it. You will not be able to get a summer deal without putting thought and action into it.

ANTICIPATION FOR THE FUTURE
I very much think that summer is the season of anticipation, anticipation for the upcoming holiday, anticipation for the trip with your loved ones, anticipation for the future endeavours you planned after the summer—anticipation for the future.
It’s something I’ve mentioned in a previous post of mine but summer is the perfect time to plan a goal, passion or hobby of yours. You don’t necessarily have to start working on it during this season but you have the opportunity to prepare and plan about it.

A MOMENT OF REFLECTION
This is connected with the previous point but summer doesn’t only give you the opportunity to relax but it also gives you the opportunity to reflect. You can take this time to reflect on your past and present (in every single aspect) and figure out if this is truly what you want and need, or what you want to change about it.

Most people I know agree with you. My wife would happily live in perpetual summer 😂 For me, however, Winter is the time I relax and look forward on those dark nights when you shut the world out and sit in front of the fire. My actions for the rest of the year are at least partially planned when I can go into hibernation 😊
