Must Have High End Makeup Products

A simple life is a beautiful life

Hey Loves! I hope you’re all doing well, today as you can see by the title I’ll be talking about my must have high end makeup products. I rarely talk about high end products on my blog because obviously they are expensive and they aren’t easily accessible.

However, I do prefer drugstore products compared to high end products, it’s just my opinion!  The products I’ve mentioned here are perfect for everyone, and I’d recommend these products to anyone with my eyes closed so if you’re interested then just keep on reading!

1 – Tatcha | Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

This product is super expensive in my opinion, this was one of the products that I was hesitant to talk about since it’s very expensive for a setting spray. It’s a dewy skin mist and I spray it on the highest point of my cheeks (after I’ve applied my makeup) to give a nice glow to my face. It removes any ‘powderyness’ as well and it just gives a flawless finish.

2 – Stila Cosmetics | Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow

I was a bit sceptical about this product at first since there were a lot of mixed reviews but the quality and pigmentation of this product is on another level! I would describe this product as a liquid glittery eyeshadow (as its name), it’s very easy to work with and blends perfectly fine. I love the applicator too! You don’t need to add any eyeshadows or glitters on the top, it’s just so gorgeous on its own.

3 – Jouer Cosmetics | Skinny Dip Ultra Foil Shimmer Shadow Palette

This palette is literally heaven, the eyeshadows are literally pure metals! It’s perfect for any night out/party makeup looks. It’s very pigmented and creamy, you don’t even need to wet your brush with a setting spray to see the full pigmentation! You have a lot of undertones such as pink, gold, silver, etc. so you have a lot of choices.

4 – Iconic London | Illuminator

After I’ve used these illuminators, I’ve been loving liquid highlighters – I never thought this will be my thing but I just fell in love with it! You only need a drop or two and it will give such an amazing glowy finish. You can use it as a base for your powder highlighter, or you can wear it on its own. My favourite way to use it, is I mix it with my foundation and trust me – it will make your skin look more radiant!

5 – Charlotte Tilbury | Wonderglow

I’m not into primers in general because it doesn’t really work on my skin but the Charlottle Tilbury Wonderglow works amazingly for me! I use it before I apply my foundation and the finish is something else! It gives such a glow to your face and it automatically illuminates your face.

6 – Tarte |  Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint

What I love about these lip paints is the formula, they have a mousse texture and they feel so creamy on the lips. In addition, they have a great range of colours!

  4. I must share this with my daughter who talks a lot about high end products, and also getting the best deals on cheaper, but quality makeup. What might the best way to share this with her, she has no wordpress account?

    1. Thank you! High end products don’t always mean great quality products, you’ve to find what works for your skin or not. You can share this with your social media platforms for instance Facebook, Twitter or you can simply email the link of this blog post x

  5. Does your blog have a contact page? I’m having trouble locating it but, I’d like to send you an email. I’ve got some suggestions for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great site and I look forward to seeing it expand over time.

  6. Not a comment so much, but I have a question. What do you recommend for eye liner and mascara? A friend suggested Marc Jacobs for liner and Dior for mascara. Your thoughts? Thanks a bunch

    1. The eyeliners from Marc Jacobs are really good, they’re very pigmented but my personal preference would be the Urban Decay Glide-On eye pencil. They’re super pigmented and don’t smudge under your eyes, the one in the shade black is literally the blackest colour ever! When it comes to mascaras, the Dior ones are pretty good and I’d recommend them – I love the mascaras from Marc Jacobs as well! x
