#1 Clean space
I have realised that when you have a clean space, you automatically have a clear mind and from that way, it’s easier to know which tasks need to be finished/done first and what other tasks you still need to do.
2# Use a planner
Having a planner has a lot of benefits and one of them is being organised, it helps you to keep track of everything (literally!), you can write down any information whether it’s a dentist appointment, an essay you have to finish, some bills to pay, etc. Obviously, you don’t need a planner to take notes of all these things, you can use a notebook as well.

3# Know your deadlines
Knowing your deadlines makes everything a hundred percent easier, trust me! You can prioritise which task to finish first depending on the deadline and then arrange the remaining tasks depending on their deadlines. I would say this is one of the most essential things you have to do when it comes to staying organised.
4# Apps
This one is more a digital alternative version of a planner, you can use some apps as a planner to take important notes. For instance, Evernote is a really good app when it comes to taking notes or you can use the basic Calendar or Notes app in your phone as well. If you want to find alternative apps, go to the App Store and select Productivity in the Categories option. You will find a range of apps and download something that is suitable for you.
5# Double-check
This one is very crucial, double-check and make sure you didn’t forget anything. When there are a lot of things to do, you might forget something and when you remember at the last minutes, it can be so frustrating so always double-check if you have completed everything and don’t have any essays to submit on that day.
FREEBIES!
Firstly, I wanted to thank you guys so much! I hit 1.5k followers a little time ago, it might be a small number for some of you but for me, it’s such a big deal! So thank you so much for all your likes and comments, it really means a lot to me.
So I thought I would create a free planning kit which includes a to do list, weekly and monthly planner as a “thank you” gift and obviously this planning kit relates to this post, you can print them and use them to stay organised. I hope you like them as much as I do and do let me know what you think of them.

Fully agree with everything you’ve stated on here! Especially having a clear workspace, it helps me feel so organised from the moment I wake up if everything is in its place from the night before! Also to-do lists help so much! & congratulations for your milestone! xx
Thank you so much hun! x
Congratulations and fantastic post!! That is such a wonderful idea to creat a planner that can printed free for everyone…awesomeness!!
Thank you so much! x
This is especially helpful for people like me who aren’t naturally very organized! I try to overcome this by using the agenda on my phone & setting reminders ASAP so I don’t forget but I’m thinking of buying a day-planner because I find I remember things better when I write them down by hand.
I’m exactly like that! If I don’t write it down, I tend to forget and overthink if what I remember is right and correct, lol. I customised a word document and I use it as a planner which works really well for me. You can buy a cheap planner and try to use it then if you like that, you can invest on a good quality planner so from that way you can see if it works for you. Personally I find planners aren’t on the cheap side, they can be pretty expensive haha x
I feel the same way! I think that’s why I keep putting off purchasing one. I just don’t understand why they’re still so expensive when people are mostly into using their electronics anyway.
I know right!
Thank you these tips are much needed! 💚
You’re welcome! 😘 thank you for your kind words x
