A Summer Beauty Round Up

Summer is here and everyone is mixing up their beauty products to something very glowy to match with the beautiful season and I’m going to show you what products I’ve added into my routine.

L’été est là et tout le monde mélange ses produits de beauté à quelque chose de très brillant pour correspondre à la belle saison et je vais vous montrer les produits que j’ai ajoutés à ma routine.

ILLUMINATING PRIMER

If you’ve read my 2016 favourites (read the post here!), you’ll already know that the Lumi Magique Primer from L’Oreal is one of my favourite products from the drugstore. I used to use it every single day but now I only use it during the summer. I mix it with my foundation and it gives such a beautiful glow on my skin.

Si vous avez lu mes favoris de 2016 (lire le post ici!), vous savez déjà que le Lumi Magique Primer de chez L’Oréal est l’un de mes produits préférés de la pharmacie. J’avais l’habitude de l’utiliser tous les jours mais maintenant je ne l’utilise que pendant l’été. Je le mélange avec mon fond de teint et il donne une si belle lueur sur ma peau.

ROSY LIPS

When it’s spring/summer, it’s time to switch up your lip colours but for me personally, I always stick to my nudes and warm shades. I think they look the best on my complexion but still when I want to spice things up, I go for a dark rosy shade. The NYX soft matte lip cream in the shade Rome and the pink/rosy lip liner from Primark (it doesn’t have any name on it) is my favourite combo!

Quand c’est le printemps/été, il est temps de changer vos couleurs de lèvres mais pour moi personnellement, je prefere toujours à mes nudes et à mes teintes “chaudes”. Je pense qu’ils ont l’air le meilleur sur mon teint, mais quand je veux pimenter les choses, je préfère une teinte rose foncé! La crème pour les lèvres mate de chez NYX à l’ombre Rome et le rose crayon à lèvres de chez Primark (il n’a pas de nom) est mon combo préféré!

DEWY FOUNDATION

If you don’t already know, I’ve extremely dry and sensitive skin so I always opt for a foundation which has a satiny or glowy finish rather than a matte one. But during the summertime, I make sure that my skin is more hydrated so I go for a foundation that has a rich formula mixed with vitamins, serums or any natural ingredients that will give my skin a boost. In this case, I love the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation! I’ve featured it in many of my blog posts and I’d definitely recommend it!

Si vous ne le savez pas déjà, j’ai une peau extrêmement sèche et sensible, donc j’opte toujours pour une base qui a une finition satinée ou brillante plutôt qu’une finition mate. Mais pendant l’été, je m’assure que ma peau est plus hydratée, je vais donc pour une base qui a une formule riche mélangée avec des vitamines, des sérums ou tout autre ingrédient naturel qui donnera un coup de pouce à ma peau. Dans ce cas, j’adore le Bourjois Healthy Mix Sérum fond de teint! Je l’ai présenté dans beaucoup de mes articles de blog et je le recommanderais sans hésiter!

HIGHLIGHTERS

Obviously when it’s summer, your highlighter has to be blinding people! To be completely honest, I’ve never been into highlighters, I like a subtle and glowy look and when I wear a highlighter that’s very pigmented – I always feel self conscious about it.

I feel much comfortable using liquid highlighters which is something I’ve been trying it out recently, the Makeup Revolution liquid highlighter in the shade Champagne is the perfect shade for me. It’s not too light nor too dark on my skin tone and it adds the perfect glow to my face.

Évidemment, quand c’est l’été, votre highlighter doit être aveuglant! Pour être tout à fait honnête, je n’ai jamais été dans les highlighters, j’aime un look subtil et luisant et quand je porte un highlighter très pigmenté, je me sens toujours très conscient.

Je me sens très à l’aise en utilisant des highlighters liquides ce que j’ai essayé récemment, le highlighter liquide de Makeup Revolution à l’ombre champagne est l’ombre parfaite pour moi. Ce n’est pas trop clair ou trop sombre sur mon teint et il ajoute la lueur parfaite à mon visage.
