A Glowing Skincare Routine

I’m pretty sure by now, all of you already know how much I love a glowy and dewy finish I wear makeup or not. After I’ve moved, my skin has been feeling really dull and dehydrated on top of having sensitive and dry skin.

Coincidentally, I received some goodies from Pixi Beauty from their Vitamin-C collection. I’ve been testing these products for a couple of weeks now on a daily basis so if you’re looking for products that illuminate your skin tone, plus would like a review of these products then keep on reading!

Je suis presque sûre maintenant que vous savez tous à quel point j’aime les finis luisants et humides, que je porte ou non du maquillage. Après mon déménagement, ma peau était vraiment terne et déshydratée, en plus de ma peau sensible et sèche.

Par coïncidence, j’ai reçu des cadeaux de Pixi de leur gamme de vitamine C. Je teste ces produits tous les jours depuis quelques semaines, donc si vous cherchez des produits qui éclairent votre teint, souhaitez-en un examen, continuez à lire!

VITAMIN-C JUICE CLEANSER

To start with the cleanser, this is the product I’ve been using to cleanse my face on the days I wear makeup. I use the cleanser I normally use on the days I don’t wear makeup and the reason for that is I wanted to see the difference between those two cleansers.

First things first, I have to mention I love the reverse pump on the bottle. You press a cotton pad onto it and then apply it all over your face. Second of all, I do see a difference, my skin is a lot more brighter. You could say my skin is glowing!

Pour commencer avec le nettoyant, c’est le produit que j’utilise pour nettoyer mon visage les jours où je me maquille. J’utilise le nettoyant que j’utilise normalement les jours où je ne porte pas de maquillage et la raison en est que je voulais voir la différence entre ces deux nettoyants.

Tout d’abord, je dois dire que j’adore la pompe inversée sur la bouteille. Vous pressez un coton sur celui-ci, puis vous l’appliquez sur tout le visage. Deuxièmement, je vois une différence, ma peau est beaucoup plus lumineuse. Vous pourriez dire que ma peau brille!

 

VITAMIN-C TONIC

The second product is a toner! I’m pretty sure you already know this but you have to apply your toner after your cleanser. The toner and cleanser go hand in hand in my opinion.

I’m pretty sure the toner helps with brightening the skin but I don’t think you could achieve that by only using the cleanser or toner, you have to use both these products together. My skin feels very soft and plumped after applying both those products and my skin seems a lot brighter than it normally is.

Le deuxième produit est un toner! Je suis sûr que vous le savez déjà, mais vous devez appliquer votre toner après le nettoyant. Le toner et le nettoyant vont de pair à mon avis.

Je suis presque sûr que le toner aide à éclaircir la peau, mais je ne pense pas que vous puissiez atteindre cet objectif en utilisant uniquement le nettoyant ou le toner, vous devez utiliser ces deux produits ensemble. Ma peau est très douce et repulpée après l’application de ces deux produits et ma peau semble beaucoup plus brillante qu’elle ne l’est normalement.

 

VITAMIN-C SERUM

As you know, I love serums! Therefore I was really excited to try this one out, my first thought when I tried this serum was the fact that I loved the texture. You only need 2 to 3 drops and it’s so hydrating! If you have dry skin, I’d highly recommend to check this one out!

Comme vous le savez, j’adore les sérums! J’étais donc très enthousiaste à l’idée d’essayer celui-ci. Ma première pensée lorsque j’ai essayé ce sérum était le fait que j’aimais la texture. Vous avez seulement besoin de 2 à 3 gouttes et c’est tellement hydratant! Si vous avez la peau sèche, je vous recommande fortement de vérifier celui-ci!

 

VITAMIN-C LOTION

The next product we have is a moisturiser and so far, I’m so impressed by it! I have a number of eczema scars on certain areas of my body and I thought I’d use this cream since it’s a moisturiser/lotion and let me tell you – those scars are gone!

I’ve had those scars for 3/4 years and I even thought that I couldn’t get rid of them. I tried so many products and all of them were a fail. But this one completely changed the game! All those scars literally disappeared after a day or two. Apart from that, another thing I love about this moisturiser is the scent and the consistency. It doesn’t feel heavy on the face at all, it’s very light and moisturising.

Le prochain produit que nous avons est un hydratant et jusqu’à présent, je suis tellement impressionné par celui-ci! J’ai plusieurs cicatrices d’eczéma sur certaines parties de mon corps et je me suis dit que j’utiliserais cette crème, car c’est une crème hydratante/lotion. Laissez-moi vous dire que ces cicatrices ont disparu!

J’ai ces cicatrices depuis 3/4 ans et j’ai même pensé que je ne pouvais pas m’en débarrasser. J’ai essayé tellement de produits et tous ont été un échec. Mais celui-ci a complètement changé le jeu! Toutes ces cicatrices ont littéralement disparu après un jour ou deux. En dehors de cela, une autre chose que j’aime dans cette crème hydratante est son parfum et sa consistance. Il est très léger et hydratant.

Last but not least, we have the face mask! I’m a huge fan of Pixi products so it’s no surprise that I’m in love with this one as well. I only use this face mask twice a week and it gives my skin a plumper and fresher look instantly.

Dernier point mais non le moindre, nous avons le masque facial! Je suis un grand fan des produits Pixi, ce n’est donc pas une surprise si je suis aussi amoureuse de celui-ci. Je n’utilise ce masque que deux fois par semaine et il donne instantanément à ma peau un aspect plus frais.

 

THE VERDICT

If you follow me on Instagram, you’d already know that I’m a huge fan of Pixi products. The quality is amazing! In my opinion, this Vitamin-C collection is perfect for not only those who have dry skin but for those who have oily/combination skin as well.

Those products are made for brightening and hydrating your skin. The entire collection is all about luminosity so it’s no surprise that these products do an amazing job at brightening your complexion.

Vitamin C is an amazing ingredient for adding luminosity and hydration to your face. I’d highly recommend to check out and use any skincare products that contain Vitamin C.
