5 Morning Habits of Successful People

I don’t know about you but I love reading and finding out what successful people do in their daily routine, whether that’s a successful entrepreneur or an individual who has a successful career – there is always something you can learn and implement from them in your routine.

In today’s post, I’ve gathered 5 morning habits every successful person does and that I would highly recommend for you to include them in your morning routine! Without further ado, let’s jump into the post!

WAKE UP EARLY

This is something that varies from person to person but most successful people wake up super early which does make sense because when you wake up early, you get to finish a lot of your tasks from your to-do list as well as have the time to do other tasks that you need to complete.

I know some people are early birds which facilitates them whilst others are night owls which can be quite trick. Obviously I would say to do what works the best for you. If you struggle waking up early, start to wake up gradually 10 to 20 mins before the time you would normally wake up. Don’t try to wake up early if you genuinely can’t!

C’est quelque chose qui varie d’une personne à l’autre, mais la plupart des gens qui réussissent se réveillent très tôt, ce qui a du sens, car lorsque vous vous réveillez tôt, vous pouvez terminer beaucoup de tâches de votre liste de tâches et avoir le temps de faire d’autres tâches que vous devez effectuer.

Je sais que certaines personnes sont des lève-tôt, ce qui les facilite tandis que d’autres sont des oiseaux de nuit, ce qui peut être assez difficile. Évidemment, je dirais de faire ce qui fonctionne le mieux pour vous. Si vous avez du mal à vous réveiller tôt, commencez à vous réveiller progressivement 10 à 20 minutes avant l’heure habituelle de réveil. N’essayez pas de vous réveiller tôt si vous ne le pouvez vraiment pas!

 

PLAN & ORGANISE ON A DAILY BASIS

I really think this is the key to success! It’s very important that you plan and organise every single aspect of your tasks whether that’s your day-to-day activities, goals or dreams. Without planning, you can’t achieve anything that you’ve dreamt of or want to achieve in the future.

It’s all about setting up realistic steps in the grand scheme of things. Let’s say you want to turn your blog into a business, you simply can’t achieve that in a month or two – let alone in a couple of weeks. You’ll have to work consistently throughout the year and implement strategies that will help you grow your blog in order to receive sponsored opportunities. All these things requires a lot of plan and organisation.

Je pense vraiment que c’est la clé du succès! Il est très important de planifier et d’organiser chaque aspect de vos tâches, que ce soit vos activités quotidiennes, vos objectifs ou vos rêves. Sans planification, vous ne pouvez pas réaliser tout ce dont vous avez rêvé ou que vous souhaitez réaliser à l’avenir.

Il s’agit de mettre en place des étapes réalistes dans le grand schéma des choses. Disons que vous voulez transformer votre blog en une entreprise, vous ne pouvez tout simplement pas y parvenir en un mois ou deux – et encore moins en quelques semaines. Vous devrez travailler de manière cohérente tout au long de l’année et mettre en œuvre des stratégies qui vous aideront à développer votre blog afin de recevoir des opportunités sponsorisées. Toutes ces choses nécessitent beaucoup de plan et d’organisation.

GIVE IMPORTANCE TO THEIR INNER-SELF

So many people focus more on their outer-self such as their physical appearance, the way other people perceive them and the materialistic things they have where in fact, they should give as much importance to their inner-self.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how you look on the outside – it’s about how you feel in the inside. Do small things that make you feel good and happy like wearing makeup or reading a book. Everyone has insecurities and flaws, the second we accept them – they won’t be able to control us anymore.

Tant de gens se concentrent davantage sur leur moi extérieur comme leur apparence physique, la façon dont les autres les perçoivent et les choses matérialistes qu’ils ont alors qu’en fait, ils devraient accorder autant d’importance à leur moi intérieur.

À la fin de la journée, peu importe comment vous etes à l’extérieur – il s’agit de ce que vous ressentez à l’intérieur. Faites de petites choses qui vous font vous sentir bien et heureux, comme vous maquiller ou lire un livre. Tout le monde a des insécurités et des défauts, à la seconde où nous les acceptons – ils ne pourront plus nous contrôler.

TAKE CARE OF THEIR HEALTH

I mean this is pretty obvious, you only have one body and it’s highly important that you take care of it, whether it’s your physical or mental health. Try to avoid junk food and opt for a healthier and nutritious diet. You don’t have to go to the gym every single day but make sure you do exercise on a regular basis.

Sleep is so important as well! In order for your body to function properly, you need to get as much sleep as possible. Make sure to use a comfortable mattress and duvet. I’ve been using the Cloud Duvet from Panda which is the comfiest duvet I’ve ever had! I can literally fall asleep within a couple of minutes, it’s so soft and comfortable. Je veux dire que c’est assez évident, vous n’avez qu’un seul corps et il est très important que vous en preniez soin, que ce soit votre santé physique ou mentale. Essayez d’éviter la malbouffe et optez pour une alimentation plus saine et nutritive. Vous n’avez pas besoin d’aller au gym tous les jours, mais assurez-vous de faire de l’exercice régulièrement.

Le sommeil est si important aussi! Pour que votre corps fonctionne correctement, vous devez dormir autant que possible. Assurez-vous d’utiliser un matelas et une couette confortables. GET INSPIRED

In order to maintain the motivation to achieve our goals and dreams, it’s important that you get inspired on an everyday basis otherwise we will forget why we were even motivated in the first place. It’s normal to feel unmotivated or procrastinate once in a while because we need to take breaks and it’s a way of our body telling us to stop working for a couple of hours.

With time, sometimes we end up loosing track of the goals we wanted to achieve. By sparking our motivation, it will help make the process much more enjoyable. You don’t have to do grand things to feel inspired, it’s all about doing things that will help you feel more productive and creative whether that’s looking at Pinterest or buying flowers for yourself – remind yourself that you can do this!

Afin de maintenir la motivation pour atteindre nos objectifs et nos rêves, il est important que vous vous inspiriez au quotidien, sinon nous oublierons pourquoi nous étions même motivés en premier lieu. Il est normal de se sentir démotivé ou de procrastiner de temps en temps parce que nous devons faire des pauses et c’est une façon pour notre corps de nous dire d’arrêter de travailler pendant quelques heures.

Avec le temps, nous finissons parfois par perdre de vue les objectifs que nous voulions atteindre. En suscitant notre motivation, cela contribuera à rendre le processus beaucoup plus agréable. Vous n’avez pas à faire de grandes choses pour vous sentir inspiré, il s’agit de faire des choses qui vous aideront à vous sentir plus productif et créatif, que ce soit en regardant Pinterest ou en achetant des fleurs pour vous-même – rappelez-vous que vous pouvez le faire!

Great advice, I struggle with getting up early but I find I have a much more productive and organised day if I just get to work an hour early, not to do actual work but to give myself an hour to reflect, journal and read for a bit, it just sets me to function so much better through the rest of the day.

    1. Thank you! I would say it’s about taking care of my health. I should do what I preach, I always neglect to take care of my health which is really bad but I’m trying to be better at it 😬

  6. Fab tips – waking up early is one I especially struggle with! I set my alarm with all good intentions but it always fails. Believe it or not though I’ve never tried the waking up gradually thing so I’m going to have to give it a go! I’m going to make a special effort with being organised this year too as I’ve really slipped with it over the last few months! x

  7. I don’t think anyone should force themself to wake up early if they’re naturally night owls. I’ve been an early riser my entire life and I work best early in the day, but sometime in the late afternoon I’m done, whether I like it or not (I also get tired really early–being an early riser kills your social life). Someone who’s not naturally a morning person won’t gain more productive hours by waking up early–they’ll just be tired and probably miserable. Better advice is to follow your own internal rhythm and aim to get things done during your naturally productive hours, no matter what time of day that is. I really think we need to get rid of this idea that there is one and only one way to be or to do things.
